The Optimo series of zooms from Angenieux represents the pinnacle of zoom lens optical design. These are some of the only zooms that can match and even exceed the performance of prime lenses. The 24-290mm T2.8 is legend at this point, covering a huge 12x zoom range from wide to super-telephoto.
